Simple Guide to One Tree Hill Hot Spots

January 10, 2021

Have you ever gotten so immersed in a fictional place that you just think to yourself, “wow – I wish I could go there.” Well, sometimes, you can! What One Tree Hill fans know and love as Tree Hill, home of the Ravens, is actually a small town called Wilmington, North Carolina. My friends and I took a road trip a few summers back and visited some of our favorite spots for the greatest show of all time. Here is your simple tour guide to One Tree Hill:

Peyton Sawyer’s House

1901 Chestnut Street. Yes, that is me laying on the front lawn. If you’re a true fan, you get it.

Haley James’s House

1811 Chestnut Street. Home of the sweetest girl in town, no doubt.

Brooke Davis’s House

2314 Tattersalls Drive. Ugh, to be the girl behind the red door! This house is a dream.

Lucas and Karen’s House

1829 Wrightsville Avenue. Peep Lucas’s side door! Also wanted to know that this property in particular had a sign on the porch asking crazy fans like us to not sit on their porch.

The Bench

Along the Riverwalk you can find the bench where Nathan gave Haley her Cracker Jack bracelet and dropped the famous line, “don’t say I never gave you anything.” Trust me, you’ll know the bench when you see it.

The Bridge

N 6th Street (Que “I Don’t Want To Be” by Gavin DeGraw). This spot is misleading because, unlike the intro to the show, there is no water running under the bridge! Head North on North 6th Street and the bridge is just past the Douglas Academy elementary school.

TRIC

1121 South Front Street. Sadly, the neon sign is no longer hanging but the brick around the back of this building is COVERED with One Tree Hill quotes.

Before you wrap up your trip to Tree Hill, be sure and stop at the shops down by the Riverwalk. There are TONS of great One Tree Hill souvenirs like a mug from Karen’s Cafe or a Tree Hill Ravens basketball jersey. If you’re planning a trip to Wilmington, I would suggest it as no more than a weekend getaway. Aside from following this guide for One Tree Hill sightseeing, it is a pretty small town in North Carolina. I highly recommend this trip for any nostalgic fans like me.
