Cinderella's Royal Table

What to Expect at Cinderella’s Royal Table

November 10, 2020

Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom theme park is well-known for the picture-perfect castle that greets you at the top of Main Street USA. However, something even better awaits within the castle walls. An extravagant dining experience at Cinderella’s Royal Table. Meals fit for a king and company you can only dream of, this dining experience is my first recommendation for your Disney bucket list.

The menu truly has something for everyone.

Whether you have a restricted diet or you’re simply a picky eater, you won’t be leaving with an empty stomach. Truthfully, the most extensive part of the menu is alcoholic beverages and hey, I’m not complaining! Champagne has an extra sparkle to it when you’re sipping it in a castle.

The adult entrée options cover all the basics: fish, chicken, steak, and vegetarian. The kids’ menu offers more to choose from in a mix-and-match style to meet your little one’s appetite. All three of the dessert options are absolutely divine. My personal favorite is “The Clock Strikes Twelve” with its rich dark chocolate center and raspberry garnish.

The magical experience at Cinderella’s Royal Table is unlike anything else.

From the moment you check-in to the time you sign your check, you are treated like true royalty. As if the five-star food selection isn’t enough to please everyone.

When you arrive at your reservation you are greeted by your hostess, Cinderella, where you get the chance to take pictures and make memories with absolutely no rush. Then you head up the romantic spiral staircase lined with stained glass artwork into the formal dining room. A fabulous server brings over menus, magic wands, and a wishing star.

Throughout the course of the meal, the royal guests are introduced one by one: Snow White, Ariel, Jasmin, and Aurora. The Disney princesses take their time visiting each table. The entire event is like a well-choreographed routine, each princess knowing exactly where to go when and how long to stick around. The meal is wrapped up with an adorable wishing star ceremony encouraging all the young princes and princesses to follow their hearts and chase their dreams.

Not exactly dining on a budget, but not incredibly unreasonable!

Like all character dining at Walt Disney World, you are paying for the experience more than anything. In all honesty, the delicious food and remarkable service are right up to par with the pricing at this restaurant. I would highly recommend that every Disney lover tries it out at least once, I do not foresee anyone being disappointed.

Disclaimer: I visited Cinderella’s Royal Table in a pre-covid world. Please check with Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom to see current restrictions and/or safety precautions in place for character dining.
